We moved over from Cornwall to live in Brittany in 2006 and prior to our move we discovered that the oil central heating boiler in our new house needed attention. Not knowing anyone over here at that stage, we looked on Artisan Anglais site and discovered Andy Evans. After a phone call, it was arranged for Andy to collect the keys from the Estate Agent and give the boiler the once over and report his findings. This he duly did very quickly and had the boiler up and running for our arrival in late November. Since then Andy has proved to be invaluable with his help and advice and we would not hesitate in recommending him. We had a new central heating boiler and a new bathroom installed by Andy Evans in Spring 2008. We found his work to be very tidy and of high standard. During the design process he gave us a number of useful pointers, which we're pleased to say - now - that we followed, it has given our finished bathroom the classic yet practical finish that we hoped for. The quality of the products used were of much higher standard than would have been installed had we attempted the job for ourselves. We're very glad we used Andy and subsequently, we have all the Supplier guarantees that come with using a registered installer (...although we hope it will not be necessary to use them!) "In November 2004, we bought our house in Callac and bought a new cooker from Gitem in Callac. After installation, we found that our gas system needed renovation and adjustments. The French owner of Gitem in Callac advised us to contact Andy Evans. We were kind of surprised that a Frenchman advised us to go to an English artisan but Andy proved to be a real professional. We have since had some other problems which Andy either takes care of himself or brings in other professionals. We decided to have a fence and a safety gate and engaged a specialist but never have received a quotation. We turned to Andy and within a few weeks the high quality fence and gate were ordered and fitted. We now only engage Andy Evans for all kinds of artisan activities.
